• Be Your Own Advocate

Be Your Own Advocate Advocate; a person who publicly supports or recommends a particular cause or policy. So many of us have a cause close to our hearts, or as my sister likes to say “a hill to die on” lol. Often, we are constantly advocating for others- and wanting them to have better opportunities in life or for life to be more “fair” for them. Lately something that has continued to come up for me and for others through conversations I have been having- is the idea of advocating for yourself. In the Workplace “Don’t Compromise yourself, you’re all you’ve got”-Janis Joplin Our culture and society has such a…

  • Finding Your Way Home

Were All Just Walking One Another Home   It’s hard to pinpoint exactly when we “lose our way” but something I’m starting to learn is no matter how lost you feel, it always leads you to exactly where you need to be.  Make no mistake, and as someone who is in the middle of what they deem a “midlife crisis” (lol) I know it’s easier said than done, but looking back on the patterns throughout life, all those moments where you feel like giving up or like nothing is going as planned. Feeling like your life is in shambles, or your not where you should be in life, feeling like your…

  • I MOVED Too Philly, Now What?!

“Anxiety Is a Siren. Intuition is a Whisper.” Moving to Philadelphia was point blank one of the only decisions in my entire life that I made solely without consulting ONE PERSON. As a co-dependent people pleaser, who lacks boundaries (thank you therapy lol) this was a big freaking deal for me! Essentially, I got really clear on what I wanted or more so I started listening to what no longer served me and I started to trust in my gut- without dismissing it as anxiety/fear. I started showing up for myself and realized that by staying where I was because it SEEMED easier than deciding or taking action- I was…
